nsecurity is inherent in the human state of being and is a quality which is shared by all souls in other states of actuality. Mortals are in its grasp throughout their life experiences. From the beginning of human existence, there is ample evidence that individual or collective insecurity stems from fear of what abuse or injury to the body, mind or soul can be inflicted upon each other. Because of this insecurity in mortals, there has been desire to create basic sets of principles or guidelines to alleviate the most prevalent fears. All cultures and traditions have established basic rules of conduct. Conforming to this code of conduct is known as morality, and failure to attune has led to various forms of punishment, including death. More discerning humans know that morality based on written principles continues to fail even if sanctified by various religions. Conditions of insecurity are most severe for humans, less severe for beings in the spirit world, and considerably less for entities in God's spiritual realm. In addition to feeling the insecurity of all souls, God has insecurity of God's own which is related to the Void from which God separated and chooses not to return. Humans are the most insecure of souls, since they rebelled against God and seek redemption. Souls in the spirit plane are negative or evil, and, therefor, are less concerned than humans about their insecurity. Entities in the spiritual world are the most advanced and pure spiritually, and they manage their insecurities very well. Moral codes are prohibitive and frequently forbid the positive along with the negative potentials of individuals. They add to the insecurity burden of individuals worldwide, because a God of revenge and retribution is stated or implied in codes. Ironically, instead of inspiring individuals toward better conduct, they actually assist egos to keep them ensnared by increasing their fear of God. Egos use fear more than other emotions to keep humans in their Illusions of Selves. Such morality codes are negative statements from God's perspective. God is unnecessarily feared. The established morality of most nations, especially in industrial nations, has failed wretchedly to produce more appropriate human behavior. There have always been steady streams of laws legislated by governments, and provisions made to enforce them because of this disaster. Some laws are always necessary to reflect the morality of nations. However, the plenteous amount of laws which are extant throughout the world indicates that morality codes are ineffective. Fewer laws would be necessary if moral principles were inspiring and readily accepted by the general populace. Codes and laws would have wider acceptance by individuals if their leaders modeled them. At present, the world is in a precarious position with rampant corruption obvious in governmental, commercial, religious, and other institutions upon which the public relies. Leaders in various fields of human endeavor use morality as a weapon to keep the public, whom they are to serve, off balance and under control. Morality is used as a veil behind which such leaders carry out their nefarious schemes with corrupt choices and actions. These leaders give full reign to their egos. Nevertheless, there are some bright spots on the world scene. Countries which have been ruled by dictators and one-party systems are trying democratic forms of government. However, the change is not caused by morality's success but by the economic failures of government policies. It is ironic that long-standing hatreds between races, previously dormant because of oppression, have surfaced with political freedom. Existing morality codes will have little effect in abating these ancient hatreds. An effective morality system would have the breath of life within it. It would be flexible, yet steadfast, through all storms to which it is subjected. Morality must be the spiritual flesh and blood foundation of humanity. Effective morality does not require a designation which tends to be external and foreign to humans. The existing morality is pregnant with ego complexities. Therefor, it increases rather than decreases human insecurity. In order to survive, humans deny the applicability of the moral code to themselves and see it as appropriate for other individuals. God's morality is simple, liberating and yet limiting, because the limiting is liberating. Morality can be lived simply and comfortably and responsibly by mortals. God's four commandments meet all the requirements for effective morality. Once again they are: If individuals adopt and live in conformance with these commandments, they will know the effectiveness of God's morality. They will also realize that they are freeing themselves from their anti-God egos. Individuals will develop so that they can let love be their freedom and limitation. Such mortals will also have God guiding them and know that any problem they face can be resolved peacefully. |
